Our design team created a tranquil oasis for two Wisconsin native homeowners of a new home on Maui’s Makena coastline. We provided elements that blended with the property’s natural landscape incorporating a design inspired by Hawaiian materials while showcasing the client’s extensive Hawaiian art collection.
Exterior finishes and materials graduate and represent a natural sequence or progression of lava stone base, coral stone and light wood flooring. Cabinetry and wood finishes throughout the home feature Hawaiian woods like koa, monkeypod, ohia and eucalyptus with accents of detailed patterns of durable fabrics and furniture finishes.
