Perched above the park with ocean and garden views is a luxury condo, located in the heart of Honolulu. The overall space provided a canvas to integrate built-in architectural features to design elegant and comfortable, multi-zone areas for different interests and functional requirements. The client was pleased with the overall design that reflected the quality of a relaxed family friendly island retreat. Such a lifestyle encompasses serene sensibilities transitioning to each room with ease and intention.

The design included custom millwork, new furniture selections and customizations, new architectural and decorative lighting, window treatments, introduction of surface finish materials, design presentations, construction documentation and administration, furniture procurement, and installation. Space planning, custom built-in millwork and layered textiles for visual interest were applied throughout the home.

The living room features an entertainment wall with a world class AV package where a large slatted walnut screen obscures the TV when not in use. Appropriate shelving with integrated lighting above adds an indirect softness to any display. In the dining room, we incorporated Koa, hardwood native to Hawaii, for the custom dining table and a custom dining light fixture with a soft diffused light quality.
