A cold, uninviting SoMa loft is warmed up by referencing the owner’s passion for all things mechanical. Reclaimed wood, books, black and white photographs and vintage collections create a new intimacy in a San Francisco apartment.
Situated on the Island of Lanai, the house itself sits facing the sparkling Pacific ocean, with views of Kahoolawe and the Big Island. Dramatic hits of color and pattern are everywhere, from the orange and white striped upholstery in the Great Room to the punches of red and aubergine in the bedrooms.
