Summer in the City

After years of concentrating their design efforts in Hawaii and Pacific markets, Marion Philpotts-Miller and Jon Staub have re-entered the mainland U.S. and international design scene with new offices just footsteps from San Francisco's Design Center. (Their former company was called Your Space, Inc.) The two are joined by Philpotts designers Lowell Tom and Kristie Kiggins in a fresh, new space at 643 Seventh St., in the design savvy district south of Market Street.

Sticking to the Philpotts green philosophy to "reuse, repurpose and recycle," they filled their new studio space with Brilliantly colored over-sized umbrellas, fresh paint and odds and ends they'd had stored in the city for years. The result is happy, open and just right to get the creative juices flowing. "It's our home away from home," says Marion.
